Our Story

AVM is an inclusive school that believes in bringing about an educational revolution to ensure the right of equal opportunity to all. We at AVM believe that every child has the right to education and we have chosen to devote our resources to ensure the same. Awareness, Acceptance and Assistance for all are the three strong pillars on which AVM has been standing strong for 30 years. AVM was established in 1988 and has been working towards its goal of creating a society based on equality and inclusion ever since. We offer our students equal and abundant opportunities for learning and rehabilitation. We believe that they will be able to operate and contribute to the society if they are made independent and to some extent, self sufficient. Our goal is to ensure that each and every student at AVM is given the best possible education; an atmosphere required for his/her all round growth along with plenty of co and extracurricular activities.
 Having accepted a strict no rejection policy for the admission of students, AVM is now a big family that includes a diverse range of students. There are special, non special, socially disadvantaged as well as severely challenged students in AVM.


Ankur Vidyamandir's mission is to provide its diverse student body the best possible education by focusing on the fundamental academic disciplines in an atmosphere that affirms academic achievement and in so doing, to offer the community a true choice in education for life. Ankur Vidyamandir believes that “thorough and efficient" education is best accomplished through a rigorous curriculum that requires mastery of core knowledge and skills.

Inclusive education

… Schools should accommodate all children regardless of their physical, intellectual, social, emotional, linguistic or other conditions.
